Excellent service from Ricky (I think that's what his name badge said, sorry if I've got it wrong) He put a new battery into my cheap but much loved wrist watch and got it working again 😃, thank you! And I was running a bit late, but he was open till 6 - what's not to love?!
This is my local dry cleaner, key cutter etc. Its quite pricey. The shop manager takes breaks at odd times of the day so you can turn up and he's closed for 45mins. Much as he will need a break it would be less confusing if he took a break between 12 and 1 or similar every day so the customers don't waste time going to use the shop only to find it closed. I had a recent experience where I turned up 3 times and he was closed in the hours between 9am and 6pm. He sometimes closes before 6 and has locked up.
Phoned on Monday to check when I'd get an item I needed for a funeral on Friday. Was told wouldn't be back until late on Friday! Already had Monday collection and next not until Wednesday! Isn't that a terrible level of service?
Popped here to see if can get a suit dry cleaned for the weekend, at first was told would need to wait 20mins to be even seen as was busy doing a car key, but then asked that wanted to see if can get suit dry cleaned by weekend, Sunday latest, thought by coming Wednesday would be plenty of time but told wouldn't be till next week so got a local business to do it, not the best experience tbh and probably wouldn't waste my time again.
Arrived at 10:10 and shop was closed. Sign said a few minutes. Returned 11:20 and it was still closed. However when putting shopping in car I noticed chap returning to shop so I ran back down only to be told he was closed as he had other things to do and the nearest Timpson was Airdrie. Why advertise open 9-6 when you’re clearly not! Certainly not the service I expect. Complaint lodged with head office
