I had two very bad experiences at this Timpson (Colchester Avenue, Cardiff), both caused by the same staff member. Yesterday my mother had the battery replaced on her Casio watch, and today — just 24 hours later — the watch already has water and moisture inside. This has never happened before in decades of use, so the sealing was clearly done incorrectly. I went to Timpsons,Sainsbury's in Cardiff today and had outstanding service from Mark. I was struggling printing photos and he did it all for me. He was patient, helpful, polite and brilliant. Thank you Mark. I'll be back(sorry!).
Went in yesterday afternoon, 17th, to get my watch strapped changed and couldnt have asked for better service. The guy who served me was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend.
Came here weeks ago and the gentleman who fixed it for me didn’t gave me a card proof that he fixed and I left but I came back after a week as it wasn’t working but this guy Thompson was very rude and I asked him to fix it but he said I won’t as you don’t have a proof that it was fixed here! Which I told him it’s fine just fix it and I will pay the money for it. But he refused. What a joke.
Absolutely awful service, brought a pair of boots to resoled on 13th Dec 25 & as off today (15.02.2025) still at Manchester Prison awaiting for them to be repaired, if you send you shoes to for repair this is were they go as advised by the staff member. You pay over £70 for a repair and takes two plus months, advised there is a shortage in the prison for boots/shoes being repaired. Find a local cobbler. Pay premium prices for prisoners to repair your boots/shoes. Not advised when dropping them off.
