Came here weeks ago and the gentleman who fixed it for me didn’t gave me a card proof that he fixed and I left but I came back after a week as it wasn’t working but this guy Thompson was very rude and I asked him to fix it but he said I won’t as you don’t have a proof that it was fixed here! Which I told him it’s fine just fix it and I will pay the money for it. But he refused. What a joke.
Went to Timpsons Colchester Ave cardiff, asked for a 2 piece suit and a coat to be dry cleaned they quoted £17.50 for each. When he discovered both were designer items he then informed me that because they were designer they’d be £40 each needless to say I took the items away and went to cardiff laundrette instead on Newport rd, who charged me £18 per item. Is there a different dry cleaning method for designer clothes? Complete rip off will never go here again.
Took some clothes here for the laundry service, £77 including express service. Staff were helpful. Received them back and they smelled so bad, like cigarettes. This indicates whoever they're sending the dry cleaning out to is reusing the same cleaning solvent rather than filtering/replacing it.
Popped into Timpson in Sainsbury’s to have some front door keys cut. The agent pointed out the 3 for two offer, and I opted for 6. The keys were cut as I waited, and then I heard the cost ( which I foolishly hadn’t asked previously) £48!! The master locksmith association suggest that these are normally around £5+ each. B&Q do a 3 for 2 at £7 each. So I think this was way too excessive. Too late for me, & lesson learned
Visited to change my car key battery. Excellent service from the man on counter. There is 2 options, first one will cost you like £12 and comes with one year warranty. The other option is lifetime for£17 . Which is good option. If there is any problem with that key, they will change the battery without any cost.
