Really bad service would not go back! I went on Sunday morning to replace the car key. The guy who was there seemed to not really be interested at all. I asked about car key replacement, he straight away said the price and then took my key and replaced the battery while for some reason was hiding the process with his back.. I went back to my car after I did shopping and the car was not opening. Went to the shop he said let me check, he replaced the battery(or that’s what he said). Wonderful man at timpsons today cut me a new key as one of the keys I had cut at another timpsons didn't work. He was really nice and helpful
If you want a watch battery replacement I’d avoid this place. Went in today and was quoted £32! Walked 5 mins into town got it done in a jewellers for £12.50 with a year’s guarantee. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.. Shop around..
Advice for management as respectfully as possible: if you are advertising a list of services (with no conditions added regarding specific times and days available), it's not particularly acceptable to only have one staff member working if that staff member hasn't been trained to perform some of those services. I had an emergency with a broken car key and was stuck a 45 minute drive from home. Brought in my husbands wedding present, a watch the be engraved for our wedding day. The bloke scratched the watch by putting masking tape on it. Then went to do a trial engraving and it went through to the watch and bodged it. Watch was never repaired, denied they scratched it even though it was on CCTV. Then the complaints handling team made it even worse, never replied and extremely rude. Started blaming me at one point?
