Popped in a couple of weeks ago to drop off a watch to get a battery replaced. Expected to have to return another day, but was able to just wait whilst the colleague worked and all was sorted within a few minutes, complete with lifetime guarantee. Polite and professional service.

Worst experience ever. I went there for adjustment (actually Ive asked the guy /Daniel I believe was his name/ to get my watch metal band even) and he took it straight away. After 5 minutes of trying I end up with one of the pins smashed as you can see and the metal band scratched pretty bad! And the whole time I had the feeling that my watch wont "survive"... So timpsons make sure you get the right person for the job or if someone is not able to provide specific service just to say "sorry can't do it"...
The very kind staff at this Timpsons added new holes to my belt on my wedding day, when I realised that I was in danger of a wardrobe malfunction otherwise. They didn't even charge me for it- really kind of them, thank you very much!
Whow, what a friendly man in this shop! The sole of my shoe suddenly broke when I visited Edinburgh. Daniel was super helpful, flexible, creative in finding good solutions. He glued my shoes with a friendly smile, and guess what... he even did it as a courtesy!! So, if you need a new key or a proper shoe fix, this is definitely the place! Thank you Daniel!
