Very very expensive and very very poor quality. £30 odd quid for a pair of shoes to be healed and soled. But when the new heals are coming away and the front of the soles are peeling off you take them back. The then staple the heals on and glue the toes back down. Then 6 weeks later the toes are coming off again. It's a very very POOR SERVICE. The bloke there is miserable at the best of time then take a problem back and he's even worse. Went a couple of years ago had excellent service. I went back a few months ago and was astounded at the young man's attitude with the beard. This week my daughter went in and his attitude was shocking again and he cut the key wrong it wasn't filed down properly. Took it back and yet again a totally shocking attitude and very rude. If he doesn't like people I suggest he doesn't work in a shop!
Went in to get my shoes repaired. Was met by a rude man who told me it was going to cost £20 to glue the soles back on, but they will come off again when walking! Also advised I throw them in the bin and buy new shoes! How can a shoe repair business not guarantee their work? These shoes are sentimental to me! Very rude, I'll never go there again!
This was my first time getting a pair of boots re-heeled. I can not believe they are the same boots. They were warn right down on the heel and sole, the heel was worn on the sides and de-shaped. Picked them up today and I'm delighted. Not only do they have new soles but they have rebuild the wear on the heels and re-stained all around the old soles making them look brand new. So worth it for the cost. These will do years more now for the fraction of the cost of a new pair. Well done guys.
