Always my go-to for keys, shoes, engravings, and watch batteries. Staff are always incredibly friendly, welcoming and skilled in their craft. Price is always very reasonable. I have the guarantee on my watch battery and have used it regularly, they also shortened my watch strap for me and left me the spare links. Can't fault them!

Nothing wrong with Timpsons themselves - the service was efficient and the staff were friendly. But they outsource dry cleaning to Johnson's. I handed them a clean-smelling silk dress and it returned smelling of sweat.

Had a battery put into a car key and nearly fell over when told the price. £16.50 for a 2 minute job to renew a battery I could have bought online for less than a quid. No wonder they don't advertise their prices. I only used them because the key belonged to a friend who told me to go there to get it done and even she was shocked at the price, she thought it was about a fiver. We won't be going back there again.

Save your time and use the one in the middle of town. Did a bad job and when i told him the keys did not work properly he said something sarcastic and told me they were cut perfectly. Took the keys to town and was told the wrong type of key was used. Fixed it quickly no fuss key worked first time.
