The team at ASDA in Frome have just done something amazing. They replaced the battery on my Omega watch but the seal didn’t work properly. They then sent the watch to Omega and had it completely refurbished at no cost to me. Going far above and beyond. Thank you!
Was quoted £70 to fix the zipper slider on my coat. Just fixed it myself for 38p. Bought a 10 pack of genuine YKK Sliders for £3.80, pulled off the top stopper and installed the new slider. Took me less than 1 minute to fix. Thought timpsons would be a lot more helpful but glad I just did it myself in the end.

Did not had a good experience with the Photograph taken for Ireland Visa. My self went first to take photo on 22/5/2025. I tried to explain the requirement as per the rule the photo must be a lady staff who took the photo and she was not ready to hear anything told we have 20 yrs of experience and we know how to do i needed in white background and she took photo in background with 2 different shades while and light blue. I dropped in to get some vintage sandals repaired after getting caught in a rainstorm. Woody went above and beyond to get them back in shape for a very reasonable price. He not only re-heeled them superbly, but also rebuilt and recoloured one of the heels where it had been damaged. He also took the time to do some fiddly work fixing the straps, which had begun to deteriorate in the rain. I was thoroughly impressed by his service and I can’t recommend his work strongly enough.
