Alex is amazing! I brought my favourite pair of sandals that had broken straps - I really thought they were beyond repair. Alex took a look, said he'd try, and worked his magic! They came back looking good as new. You can tell he really cares about his craft and customers. I'm so happy to have my sandals back - highly recommend Alex for any shoe repairs!
I'm in two minds over Alex who works there. He should be promoted and made either a trainer or recruited to get get more on board like him or, he should be given a huge bonus for being brilliant. In August I took in 6 pairs of shoes all needing quarter steels in the heels when Alex was away, there was a lazy tike in there over the weekend who didn't do a thing yet on the Tuesday when Alex returned, all shoes were done. Visited today to have my watch strap fixed and the back put back on. Alex's customer service was excellent, polite, professional and he completed the job very quickly, highly recommend.
MO the very pleasant Egyptian gentleman provided excellent support when asked to have one battery in a car key fob replaced. We also requested our spare car key fob cover be replace with new battery; on examining the key fob Mo advised that it was still serviceable and advised on our options. Many places would go ahead replace the key fob without question and take your money when at that time it was not necessary.
