I had a copy of my back door key cut at the hetford tesco timpson kiosk recently....what a mistake!!! Firstly the man behind the counter seemed utterly disinterested in serving me. Secondly the £10.00 price is way too much Thirdly and most importantly the key didnt even work when i got home and tried it...looking closely the key was very badly cut. The person who put a battery in my watch on Saturday 15th November was the rudest and most unhelpful person I've ever come across. Please Timpsons if you have a course on customer service you really need to send him on it. Won't be using the Hertford branch again.
Go to Lock, Stock and Barrel instead!!!! Can we give negative stars!! Firstly, the worker behind the counter was rude from the outset. When we asked about copying a new house key, he had a smarmy smile explaining its a security key and it cannot be copied. He was only able to order it in for £35 per key. We then asked about a car key blade which we also needed replacing. He stated he can't only do the blade but had to replace the whole unit... for £60!! Went to use the shoe repair service. Very disappointed, very shabby work indeed. Simple job, to glue the sole of my sandals , the guy must have been doing job with his eyes closed, as lining all sticking out, looks grubby and awful. Probably will fall apart in a day or two. £10 for one shoes, for such a shabby work, it’s not on. Will never use the service again.
Needed to get a tiny St Christopher engraved while I waited, and Timpsons in tesco Hertford was great. The gent was so helpful and after several tries and determination, as it was very tiny and difficult to line up, he got it done and I’m thrilled with it. Thank you very much for saving my day. I definitely recommend
