Waterproof learher hiking boot returned with undisclosed cut damage I brought my hiking boots to Timpson at Allerton Road on Saturday afternoon, 20 December, because a small section of glue had come loose between the sole and the leather on the right side of the left boot. I only requested that extra glue be applied to secure it. I collected the boots on Tuesday, 23 December, around 4pm. Took some boots that needed re-soling in. Thought they'd need sending away and I'd get back in a week. Got a text from Tony 2 hours later saying they were ready to collect. Even cleaned up the leather for me. Highly recommended.
I tried many places to have press studs replaced on my Barbour jacket but they all refused saying they “didn’t have the machine” required. Tony @ Timpson Allerton asked me to bring it in. He didn’t have “the machine” but you know what he had? He had a hammer and a shed full of admirable old fashioned skill. Superb customer service from a great lad.
Had my boots soled and heeled, by Anthony. He did an amazing job and they were ready the same day. I would highly recommend Allerton Road branch.
Had a pair of boots re-heeled and stitching on a leather bag repaired. Quick service, Tony took extra care to ensure all the stitching was intact, and the boots came back polished. Great value for money. Thanks!
