Just had my car key done new case. Very polite chap very efficient
My 92 year old father, who is registered blind, took some trousers in to be dry cleaned, he was charged £10 and given a receipt. When he went to collect them he had to pay again as he was given a ticket, not a receipt and the actual price was £9.50. How someone can steal from a blind man I do not know. He was and is upset but trying to be philosophical about it, whereas I am furious. I chose a quiet time to go, so chap had no other customers. I was charged £10 for the cutting of one yale key. It took well under a minute on the automatic machine, and no extra time was spent sanding and smoothing it. (£10 for a tiny bit of metal and less than a minute's work = Timpsons taking advantage of the public.)
Went in to get my key cut the man told me his machine couldn’t possible cut a key from how broken mine was which I thought was abit weird, went to pettifers in Bromyard and did it within 2/3 mins for me, obviously not a very good ‘key cutters’ if I can go to a general store and get it done straight away
