Asking 20£ for adjusting size of the watch, EACH, when some of the watches cost me total price 17£, robbery. I adjusted one, coz have no time, but prices not commensurate with reality. Only if u want pay triple price. When I said some of the watches worth 20£ answer was “look this one 125£”. No board with prices. That’s absolute easiest thing to do just to adjust size of the watch, did the job but that’s Ridiculous prices, first and the last time using this service
Timpson should be ashamed of themselves. I sent my son here to get a dog tag engraved. The wording was off centre, look like a child had done it. The work was so bad I was too embarrassed to gift it. I sent my son back to have it redone but they refused on the fact that my son said it was okay. My son was young and too embarrassed to tell the truth. Obviously Timpson took advantage of the situation and charged £13 for complete rubbish. I used to have all my keys and engraving done here, but now I will go elsewhere.
Wanted to fix my car key, went in and the guy said it will be 20£ but not refundable as if it’s not working it’s not the battery and it will be about 200£ to fix it. I got the new battery hoping for the best. Of course it didn’t work. So I struggled like that for a while until I had to service the car and I found this amazing mechanic. He did the service that I paid for then mentioned he fixed my car key as well. He said it was just the battery and didn’t have to pay him for that as it was nothing.
