I felt compelled to write a review after visiting the Timpson Horsham branch today. Although the staff were likely just doing their usual job, I was genuinely impressed by how helpful, polite, and courteous they remained in what was clearly a very busy shop, with multiple services being requested at once. Despite my slightly fussy, off-script engraving request, they handled everything with unfaltering friendliness and delivered a high standard of work. I thought their professionalism and attitude deserved some recognition.
Always great service and a well managed shop but shop manager really came through for me to remedy a very poor set of passport photos taken by Timpsons in Tesco that would have been rejected by the Passport Office. The manager in Horsham Middle Street replaced the photos free of charge even though his shop hadn’t taken them and made me look 10 years younger as well!
Absolutely appalling service. We visited the shop on Saturday 17th January. The cobbler was on the phone having a non professional conversion and another boy was by the dry cleaner. Neither said hello on entering the shop and when asked whether the cobbler could resole a pair of shoes he looked across at his rack of 3 pairs of shoes and said he was too busy. We arrived at the shop at lunchtime. Then we walked passed the shop 30minuted later and he was standing around looking out the window!
Thank you to the man in the Horsham branch today for helping me with so many different items. In the past 24 hours I have got two pairs of boots fixed, replaced the battery in two sets of car keys, new watch battery and sent a necklace off for repair. Great service for every item and really good advice / options for each. This place does everything to such a high standard. Love it!
Key cutting is overpriced. I appreciate that not everyone wants to shop around and some people want the convenience of keys being cut in town, but the following might show how overpriced it is. I was quoted by Timpson a total of £22 to cut a key for a Yale barrel and key for an Era mortice lock. Just been quoted £12 for both keys by a reputable independent locksmith in Foundry Lane. Shop local and shop independent whenever you can.
