Went to Timpsons at Tesco Maldon. Charged me just a fraction under £40 to change the batteries in 2 car key fobs. The same job done at Keystation in Heybridge Maldon was £15. How can Timpsons justify charging an extra £25?? TOTAL rip off.

I went to Timpsons at Maldon Tesco to get a couple of car keys cut. It was good old fashioned service, I was in, explained my needs and within 10 minutes I had my keys. I haven't experienced such good service in some time. I am sorry I didn't get his name but it was on 13/09/2025. Well done Timpson.
Fantastic timpson employee Steve was very helpful, polite, knowledgeable and has great customer service skills. He recut a snapped car key, which I had been told wasn't really possible by another timpson store, the key works perfectly and was £10 less than the high street quote! Highly recommended.
Always an amazing service. Fast, efficient and friendly.
