Paul is such a breath of fresh air! So warm friendly and welcoming. I came in for a heel cap replacement and he did it on the spot for me. Even sprayed the heel where I had a few scratches and punched some holes in a belt I had for free. His attention to detail was unmatched and I’d highly highly recommend this place to anyone who is local and looking for a professional quality shoe repair service! Thanks Paul you’re amazing!
Had an excellent experience, Paul was very friendly, knowledgable, and gave great advice on how to best take care of my leather shoes. He not only provided great help with the services on offer in store, but was also very helpful in advising on where I could get further help elsewhere. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Paul was fantastic and exactly the sort of old school customer service and friendliness that is missing at a lot of places - particularly in this day and age. When there's companies out there constantly trying to squeeze every penny out of you, Paul and Timpsons are completely fair, offer great service, they're just fantastic. Got links taken out of a watch in October for £15 by the nice guy with the ginger beard (see screenshot of what I paid as proof!). The watch ended up not working as I bashed it by accident, so I got the EXACT same one again, took it in today for the exact same service and was told by the different and very unpleasant man that it was £29.99!?! So more than I paid for the actual watch - unbelievable!!
I had a very disappointing experience with this branch. The manager was rude and even raised his voice! We requested a battery replacement for a TAG Heuer watch, which had to be done in their workshop. Initially, they quoted 3–5 weeks, but the work actually took 12 weeks. When I complained to the manager on the collection day, he was very dismissive and rude! I will not be using this branch again. Be careful, if you're giving them watch to repair. They can very much mislead you on timing.
