I took my shoes in for re-soling, and was quoted a fair price and a quick turnaround time. When I went back to pick them up, the shop was in the process of closing for the day, with the roller shutters down, and the padlock about to go on. But when I told the store man that I had driven across town to pick up my shoes, he cheerfully unrolled the shutters, unlocked the store, and went and retrieved my shoes for me, all with cheerful manner.
