As usual Kevin is the best. In a mad dash, I needed 3 keys cut at 8am. Kevin was there but the shutter half up, I asked if he could do the keys straight away ( even though he wasn’t even open). In his usual cheery way, he said yes. Within 3 mins all keys done paid for and on my way. Perfect, thanks kevin

Dishonest owner. I walked in to get a simple house key duplicate and noticed the “3 for 2” sign outside. Naturally, you’d assume that promotion applies automatically. Apparently not. They only apply the discount if you specifically ask for it. If you don’t mention it, they just charge you the full price and pretend the sign doesn’t exist. I had left three pairs of shoes there, with two of them needing to have their soles replaced. Unfortunately, one pair had the inner leather rip, and out of the three pairs I left, two ended up falling apart. I later took two of them back to my home country to be repaired after picking them up from Timpson, where the cobbler explained that the damage appeared to be caused by poor sole placement technique and weak handling of the inner leather. The customer service rep was so helpful and friendly. He understood what I wanted and sorted it out without any issue or quibble. Thank you so much. I will be back again for something with my watch and my future key cutting needs.

Timpson Service in North Street Guildford, owned/managed by Kevin, has a great service. Very knowledgeable with advice on shoe repairs and key-cutting when required.
