As an example of the extra service they provide here, I asked them to cut a new house key for me and, not only did they do so, they also cut my lawn, cut up my food, cut my commute in half and cut my sugar intake.

The measure of a great business is not when everything goes well - but how they deal with it when there is a problem. Bit of an issue where an item of clothing was damaged. I brought it back to the Northallerton store where the staff were absolutely brilliant. They were sympathetic. They immediately offered to get the item repaired - but also gave me the relevant contact details to speak with customer service. Phoned the customer service line and spoke to Joanne. Great if you want house keys cut, good fast service, last key they cut for me was done in only a few seconds and worked like a dream. Tried to get them to do a car key but due to the type of transponder key in my Kia’s key they couldn’t touch it. ***update***** I googled the Timpson website and found that they have a auto specialist based in Foss Island Morrisons in York. Phoned them up and confirmed via the reg number that they do cut the keys. So. If you need a car key cutting, get in touch with Timpson in York.
