I went to Timpsons today (church road, Hove), and I think the man serving me was called Adam. He couldn’t have been friendlier and did a brilliant job fixing my very worn shoes. He was running the shop on his own from what I could see, and it was busy when I went in but he served 3 people at the same time all very quickly. I overheard that he’d been working there for 20 years, Timpsons employers, if you’re reading this: give him a raise!

Sadly one star as the assistant in the shop was very rude. Such a poor customer service, quite shocking! He refused to search for my repaired shoes asking to come back when the owner is back from holiday, stating “it’s not his problem”.

I came in to your Church Road Hove branch to have a pair of boots reheeled. I was served by a delightful young man called Adam. He was so upbeat and cheerful and he told me that my boots would be ready for collection in 20 minutes. True to his word, I came back and my boots were ready! Adam did an excellent job and I went away extremely happy with my boots! Adam is a really lovely member your team and I will be definitely using this Timpson branch again. Thank you so much!

They asked £74 for changing a battery watch, I ordered it from ebay and I change it my self at home cost £4.25! How these people charge for fees???

I have asked for simple job to glue the rubber soul back to the shoe. Price has been agreed and I been told to be ready in 1hr. Returned back 5hrs later. Not done, They said next day. Not done, Then 4day later not done. Next week I called to check and its ready to pickup. Great they did it but I was shocked with the messy ruined seude leather from glueing by superglue. I can do better job by myself. Very disappointed with the quality and service.
