Enquired the weekend about new leather shoes being stretched and was informed by a pleasant young man what the procedure was and to bring them in and they would be stretched, simple enough, so today I was greeted by a man who obviously busy with his goggles on, was a little disappointed at being asked if I could leave the shoes to be stretched, he had to stop what he was doing, and was told it wouldn't work as they werent wide enough. I spotted an abundance of negative reviews for this store so I was hesitant in going. Perhaps it provided poor quality customer service before but my experience today was excellent. I took a set of keys I had cut at another store which didn’t work. The chap in the store examined them and knew exactly what the problem was. Within no time he’d cut me three new keys, no quibbles whatsoever. Very happy with Timpson’s service and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thanks!
Took a coat in to have a new zip put in,two and half weeks later no sign of it. Phone shop they don't know where it is, very poor service ,will not be using again.
Put a iPad in for repair expecting to collect an hour later three weeks have passed & still no iPad did not inform us it would take so long-spoke to them in store they said they said a text will be sent when ready never happened, called customer services they inform us it’s waiting to be collected, sounded very sorry for herself on the telephone won’t use Timpsons again Apple will do within an hour.
Guy who has just served me was very rude, acted annoyed when I asked if he could cut another key for me. Didn’t speak a word to me, great that he managed to get it done within a minute. Which leads me to my next point, why is it £9 for another key cutting? Extortion. Overall, I can see from reviews this is not the first time this has happened and certainly won’t be the last. Absolutely no need for the terrible customer service.
