I would like to commend Nigel who works at the Solihull branch of Timpson. He provided an excellent level of service and Timpson's should be very proud to have such a conscientious employee. Well done Nigel.
My daughter brought in a pair of vintage shoes to be re-soled at the cost of the £39.99. She returned on the specified day to collect the shoes, only to find the repair was not done. She was told that re-soling her shoes was too complex a job and even if they sent them off to their own specialist repairer, they to would be unable to do the repair. Went here a few weeks ago in a real pickle with my car keys that snapped. Could not have gone home without the help of Ricky, who solved the issue and then didn’t charge me! Fabulous service. Timpsons is a really great British company.
Went in literally 2 minutes before closing but were welcomed in by a lovely, lovely gentleman. He quickly and cheerfully altered my watch strap to fit, and sent us away with no charge! Such lovely, happy customer service that I would have gladly paid for! Thank you ☺️
Went to get a passprt photo done about three weeks ago, wasted time waiting and was told the print quality was not good so I didn't go ahead. Took the oportunity to get a quote for rehealing some boots, £4.99 quoted and they could put some heel tips on my other boots too. Returned to the shop lunch time Friday 3 November, different man at the counter, the price is now £12.95!! and the heel tips can't be done- too far gone, so another £12.95!! Really!!! Does he think people from Solihull have more money than sense!! 😂
