The lady working there both days I visited was helpful and the repair was good - was nice to give the shoes some more life instead of buying new. Would use again. A minor quibble is that I never got the call saying the repair was done and eventually just popped back on my own but maybe there was a mistake taking down the number.
Leon, where to start, the epitome of a good guy, I entered with a spot of bother as my shoe had broke on my walk home, as I arrive I see him helping an elderly lady fix her bag that appeard to have snapped, he then proceeds to fix not just my broken shoe but apply preventatives on the other that was no doubt soon to give out, I asked if I could personally tip, to which he proceeded by saying he’d prefer I donated to the charities associated with timpson!, great interaction and clear expertise in his trade , will definitely b... read more

I had the most unpleasant experience today with one of the employees who refused to change battery in my remote. He was rude, he didn’t wanted help me, told me I need to find myslef what kind of battery I need and change it myself. When I asked if he could help me figure out what kind of battery I need he said bluntly no. When I eventually find out what kind of battery I need he was trying to charge me £15 for it when the battery is worth £2,99 for 10 of them. Unimpressed with this branch. I showed up and asked if it was possible to change my car key battery and was told he couldn’t spare 30 seconds and to come back in an hour. This was the third time I’ve had to come back in 12 months for the same car key battery. A delightfully helpful man at another branch told me they had been putting the wrong battery in my car key all this time.
