After checking their website for available services and confirming car key replacement is one at this branch, I called to check roughly how much a spare copy was and was abruptly told they don’t do any car keys and bye. I responded asking if any of their nearby branches do it, was told to look online and bye again/they hung up before I could even respond a 2nd time or say bye back. We had some links removed from multiple watches. Brilliant service, very helpful and very quick turnaround. It was also 1/2 the price we had been quoted at several other jewellers. I have previously had watch batteries changed and keys cut at this Timpsons and have always received great service.
Went in with a unique shed door key - tried local key cutters with no joy. Told it’s a notoriously difficult key to cut but they did one and said try it, if it works come back for more copies, if it doesn’t don’t worry about it. It’s rare to find someone that helpful and pragmatic. That’s how you get a customer for life.
Gallows Corner Tesco branch have ALWAYS been friendly and helpful. In contrast to the Newport, Wales, branch that cut me a copy of my door key onto a blank profile that was never going to work (was actually pinned!). Charged me £12 too. Went to Romford - keys cut and work a treat. Guess it pays to sound like a local eh!
Located just outside main entrance. Clean little set up.Had to attend to get watch battery replaced. They had 2 options 1 year or free life time replacement any store. Paid 32 for lifetime. Might seem expensive but I've struggled to find local shop who had tools to reseal my particular watch. Done in 10 mins by polite gent Jack. Would I recommend..yes they seem to have tools to do watches,shoes key cutting etc. Easy wheelchair access.
