£19.95 for a battery that cost £1.50 and took 30 seconds to fit! I wish I’d asked for the price in advance, my own fault I know but I won’t trust Timpsons with anything else, ever.
Went to get a key cut, a job that takes a minute or two. Half an hour left of opening time. Chap refused on the basis that he had ‘the shop to close’. Either close to the public earlier to give staff time to close the shop, or offer your services until closing time.
Got charged 49 quid for fob van key battery, which didn't even work and got told no refund, absolute joke and a robbery for something that didn't even get fixed, needs sorting out
Very happy with the engraved wine glasses that Matt at the Transit Way Timpsons sorted for me. He called up the engraving department for me to help figure out how best to go about it and they arrived in about 7 days, beautifully boxed which I wasn't expecting! Very good value for money.
Called for a quote to cut 2 basic car keys . Nearly collapsed when the man quoted me £60 . Surely that has to be pure greed . To add "insult to injury" . Had the gall to reply ,😱 . You won't get a 2nd chance .
