Wanted a blank chipped car key, they had a muddle and programmed a key. Having car garage works and this wasn't what mechanic required. Went back and they provided a new correct key and reimbursed me the difference from what I wanted. The woman there was very polite and helpful, good customer service. Bit of a faff overall, but they remedied without issue.
Just been to timson transit way Plymouth to have a battery changed in my key fob (cost me about a tenner the last time I had it done) girl tried to charge me £50 this time for exactly the same key. Went to tesco bought a pack of 2 cr2032 batterys for £4.50 done it sat in the car park in about 2 minutes. Think your young female employee could benefit from some retraining.
Be careful and get a second opinion at another store if it sounds expensive. I took my car keys to get fixed. The gentleman couldn't fix the problem after half an hour so gave me the key back having removed a button. Sent me to Tesco, Transit way. Where without opening the key up to look inside new all about my issue saying the repair would cost £70. Very happy with the engraved wine glasses that Matt at the Transit Way Timpsons sorted for me. He called up the engraving department for me to help figure out how best to go about it and they arrived in about 7 days, beautifully boxed which I wasn't expecting! Very good value for money.
Went to get a key cut, a job that takes a minute or two. Half an hour left of opening time. Chap refused on the basis that he had ‘the shop to close’. Either close to the public earlier to give staff time to close the shop, or offer your services until closing time.
