Young man serving in the Kennet Centre Newbury today 29th October was a real asset to the shop/company.He was so friendly and polite as well as efficient..hope he gets a busier placement..he deserves it.
Popped in to enquire into getting wedding rings engraved... The person wasn't even in the store, and sculked over from somewhere outside of the of store when we walked in. They looked genuinely annoyed that we had come into. They couldn't help me anyway as they don't have the machine to engrave rings or whatever, and I was told if I sent them off it would be expensive and would take at least a month! The person's attitude was poor. He was rude and low level confrontational in his approach.
Great service. Had a ton of keys cut, Smash was very quick at getting these arranged for when I returned later that day. He also did an engraving for me and helped with the sizing and fonts etc. Have since taken 2 pairs of shoes. 👌🏻
I took my Gucci watch to the Kennet centre store as it had stopped working. I assumed the battery needed to be replaced. The man in Timpsons said he would fit a new battery . When I returned to collect my watch the man said he’s put a new battery in but the watch wasn’t working. He asked if I’d like him to send it away for a quote to fix it which I declined. The guy i found on this particular day was uninterested. I had 4 watches with me for batteries. He Overcharged me and kept asking me if i would go ahead with the price he was giving me. One watch he looked at and said it was a fake and would cost me £100. Surprisingly i took the same watch and the lovely man at the Tesco retail park charged me less than £20. The man at the Kennet had an attitude .
