I was in yesterday, and Graeme was excellent. I needed a new battery and strap for my wristwatch. He explained all the options, was not in the slightly pushy, and let me choose. He then put in the new battery, and attached the new watch strap: all very quickly, and professionally, and of course with no extra cost. The overall prices were very reasonable. I now live in Midlothian, but if I need a Timpsons again, I would try to get to this branch in Edinburgh, rather than unknown local ones, as Graeme is so helpful. 10/1... read more

Brilliant friendly service. I was in to get new watch batteries for 2 watches we purchased a lifetime guarantee for several years ago (great value). Also bought a new battery with guarantee for a different watch. All done within 30 mins. Graeme was absolutely top notch. 10/10.

Went to get some links removed from my watch, was served by Graeme and his service was excellent. He was very kind and professional, wasted no time getting started, and finished very promptly. He was very patient, and was happy to make further adjustments if required, but there was no need - he got it perfect first time!

Great customer service from Mags at Timpson in Morrisons, Portobello. I went in to get my coat dry-cleaned and she was also very helpful with advice about a watch battery and repairing a bracelet. Thank you!

Graeme was very helpful explaining the pricing to fix watches battery i taken the lifetime guarantee as its a luxury watch and it works out cheaper to do that . Graeme very efficient and helpful and done a fantastic job of replacing my watches battery . Its a great store and I use it a lot .
