Big shout-out to Andy at Timpson’s Crayford (outside Sainsbury’s Crayford) who fixed my sister’s shoes while being very honest about whether the repair would work and explaining why, They were needed for her in hospital and there was no charge. Thank you for your kindness, Andy. It had been a tough 22 hours overnight at the hospital so your kindness was the bright highlight of my day,
The lovely man who served me glued my leaking boots as a temp fix free of charge while I waited ! He advised me about a more permanent fix and costs. Had heels done before, always professional, friendly and good quality work.
quoted £10 to replace a battery in a key fob, so I checked in Poundland and they had four batteries for £2 It took less than a minute for me to change the batteries over
So impressed by the customer service and the service provided. New holes and shortened a leather belt - perfect. No need to buy a new one and my updated belt is as good as new.
Unfortunately I think I came face to face with the same surly man that many others in the Google reviews have encountered. He was rude, unwilling and inconvenienced by my presence. I made a complaint to head office who kindly sent me some gift vouchers by way of apology (hence the extra star) Hopefully this man is retrained in how to deal with the public.
