Here this morning at 9.30am as travelled in to get my new watch fixed. Despite all the signs on the front advertising open 7 days a week and 9am opening times, the place was shut! Gave it some time for somebody to arrive but nobody did, looked as though it had been shut since yesterday evening and no staff in sight. Consequently I took my business elsewhere and won’t be attempting to use again!!
Debbie at Timpsons (Tesco) was very attentive and froze to the challenge of providing me with 2 new keys for my Land Rover
Dave helped me with a plaque. His attention to detail was lovely . Very helpful and professional. Will go to him again even though it's not my local branch
Whatever you do, do not trust this place for any watch related services including bracelet length adjustment or battery replacements. They have no idea how to handle a watch and will destroy the strap links, pins and threading in no time by mishandling it as they did mine. The guy in store was using a screw cam clamp to remove a bracelet pin and using all his strength to pull it out without bothering to use a precision screwdriver as they were screw-in pins. Had my watch strap replaced at Timpsons, Ocotal, last week. The buckle broke this morning. Popped in and, Gary, without hesitation or any fuss, replaced the buckle within minutes. Very pleasant experience. Made my day. Thanks, Gary, for the professional manner in which you handled the situation. 👌
