I meant to leave a really positive review and got distracted. Anyway about a month ago I had three redundant watches, a combination of broken straps and batteries. Mo managed to resolve all issues in under 50 mins. I now have three functioning watches, and the repair costs were very reasonable. Highly professional and friendly service.
What a scam!!! All I wanted was to shorten the size of my steel watches bracelet size he worker totally for 25 seconds and he charged me 15£ like he done something wonderful. The item to remove that stuff is 15£ I was shocked I even expected it’s on us or few ponunds he just completly scammed me. I wonder when you change a proper thing how much it will cost 200£? . after this never ever timpson never ever.
Timpson used to be a community shop now they’re a bunch of charlatans who charge outrageous prices for basic 2 min jobs. £5 to click the back of my watch in… imagine would have taken him less than a minute £20 just to change a key battery that costs less than £2 and took 2 mins and 23 seconds. Embarrassing
I visited Timpsons this morning and the chap that served me, Mo, was very friendly and extremely helpful. He did my 4 keys, served me with a smile and we exchanged pleasantries. I got home and they all work! A job well done from Mo at Timpsons. Thank you.
£25 for a car key battery and 1 spare, you can get 4 of them for £7 in the blinking tesco behind the shop. Too shy to take issue with it but that's the last time i go into a timpson
