I wish I could give zero stars I had a really disappointing and uncomfortable experience at the Timpson branch on Princess Alice Drive recently. Served by a guy called “Will” When I arrived with my brother, there was a sign on the shop window stating “Back in 20 minutes – please wait. I’ll give you a 10% discount.” Fair enough. We waited in the car park for about 5 minutes, then quickly popped into the shop next door while keeping an eye out for the staff member’s return. My husband had a problem with his work bag. The handle came off. Tony found some leather and reinstated the handle in no time. It feels much stronger than it was when the bag was brand new. Thank you Tony for your exceptional craftsmanship and courteous nature. Tony Odd Job, thank you very much.
I recently had my shoes repaired at Timpson, and although the process took five weeks, it was well worth the wait. The cost was £95, but the quality of the finishing was exceptional, clearly the work of a professional shoemaker. The service was handled in-store by Tony, whose follow-up and attention to detail were greatly appreciated. If you need shoe repairs, I highly recommend visiting a Timpson location near your home or workplace.
Tbh I went there just under a year ago had my key fob changed on the car fast and I was like fantastic im a hgv driver very busy around 8 months in the key wouldn't go back in ( spring was broken )when folding the key into the fob if that makes sence I went back and said it's been about 8 months and he went yeah well it's not a garenteed fix it will cost you another £ 50 needless to say I didn't pay another £50 went over the road to the lock smith he did it for 10a Happy enough to get keys cut but not new car fobs dont both... read more
