Not a great experience, just wanted to get two keys cut, the guy there made me wait while he did something for 5 mins. Then when he did give me his time he took the keys walked to the board of keys to cut and told me bluntly he had none in stock and gave me the keys back no information about when stock might be back in or apologies for making me wait . Just a bit of a human touch required
Have been here a few times now and always received very efficient and friendly service, even received a small repair for free after an extra bit of sole came unglued on a pair of boots after bringing them in for another repair. Can sometimes get quite busy but the guy on the counter always seems to be good humoured and helpful.
I visited Timpsons Heyford hill on Saturday 30th November as I had the locks changed for my front door. I was only given 2 keys, but needed three keys so I headed down to my local Timpsons to get a couple of copies made. I spoke to the guy at the counter that I needed 2 copies and gave him the original key to make the copies. Stitching. When you get someone who can do it, it is great. However, a lot of staff apparently have no idea how to stitch. I went to one shop twice, different staff, no success, and then went to another shop where it was no problem. And a very good job done.
