so grateful to have my watch fixed, its really sentimental i could never replace it. much more needed fixing than i realised and they did it all plus the glass front so its like new all for the original quote cost for just a new dial on the side. it took a while as they had to wait for a part but communication was great i knew it was being looked after. i had also been working away when it broke so had took it to a different branch but was able to have it returned here to collect which was so appreciated. thanks so much!
Came here this afternoon to get 3 new keys cut. The first guy who was serving me had said the total cost was £27. He went to go make a copy of the keys and answer a phone call. While doing so, the younger guy took over and asked how many keys and then said it would be £19. I asked if the change of price was because it was supposed to be 3 for 2 on getting new keys. These guys are an institution. With the world at the place it is, this is a blast from the past and a welcome reminder of a time forgotten. A simple repairs and key cutting place. Love the smell when you walk in and the service with a smile. Fast and efficient. These guys operate quietly but once you notice them, they’re everywhere and for good reason.
Always good quality repairs at a reasonable price, both as Shoecare and now Timpsons. I've used this place many times and never been let down. I usually go there expecting to have to wait a few days to pick up shoes after repairs, but it's usually done within a couple of hours or by the end of the day. I haven't tried other services but based on shoe repair quality I would definitely go to them for anything else.
Amazing job on a rubber soled pair of Chelsea boots I didn’t even think could be replaced. Brought them back to life and cleaned them up like new. Danny is a legend!
