Fantastic service. Dr. Smith quickly diagnosed a life threatening issue that our dog was experiencing and was able to perform surgery right away. He explains things clearly and his experience shows and instills confidence. He came in on his day off to make sure that our dog was progressing well after surgery, which we appreciated very much.The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Tongass Veterinary Services.
Dr. Ross was terrific and really took time to understand my dog. All of the office staff members from booking the appointment to follow up were great. The reception area and exam room were very clean and welcoming with plenty of treats :). Jester will be back for sure!
Dr. Goss was very professional, kind and compassionate regarding my puppy’s issues. Our appointment was earlier in the morning, so there weren’t any other patients I could see. I appreciate that he took the time to get to know and observe her, listen to my concerns, as well as offer helpful suggestions. Kelly, the receptionist, was very kind and professional as well. I scheduled my Malinois to get spayed weeks before I even moved to Juneau with TVS without prior evaluation but records were reviewed. I was extremely nervous since my dog is high strung and not easy to handle for most people and much less a new stranger touching her. The staff and Doctor communicated with me numerous times on a game plan for the day of surgery on how we could make the situation positive. No after hours emergency service in the capital city of Alaska. Have to watch my dog suffer all night convulsing and all tongass can say is go online vet triage. Called vet in ketchikan, that has after hours emergency number, but no flight to KTN. Thanks alot Tongass The prices we have paid for previous services are ridiculous.
