I am floored at the negative reviews. From start to finish the process was top notch. Everyone was amazing and during my biopsy the techs explained everything including the noises. Same with the doctor explaining just put me at complete ease. It was painless. They gave me ice packs Pfor home and very simple instructions to follow. Please give them a chance-you will be pleasantly surprised. I will use tops annually from now on.
I have been going here many many years but won’t anymore. Same problems as many others - billing. Over a year after my mammogram was done I got a bill for $450 for what should have been covered. They had the wrong insurance (I had updated it on several forms) and said insurance wouldn’t cover it. The desk and ultrasound staff are great. The billing department is a complete mess and will turn you in to a collection agency even after you tell them they had the wrong insurance information. EVERY YEAR I get a $400 bill from then that should be 100% covered by insurance and have to go back & forth with these people!!! Filled out the paper work online before I got there. All the staff and technicians were nice and professional. Issue was billings. The mammogram was covered by insurance, the ultrasound was not. I was fine paying for the ultrasound out of pocket. However TOPS is part of Rose Imaging/Singleton Associates the radiology providers, who read the radiograph and the ultrasound. Thus, I got surprised with an exorbitant $1406 bill from Rose Imaging; they overbilled the insurance and then turn around to bill that me when it was not covered; shady billing & highway robbery from Rose. ... read more
The only reason I’m giving it two stars is because Mary the imaging technician was amazing. Very friendly and put me at ease quickly in a very awkward and vulnerable position. However, the wait to be seen was ridiculous! I arrived early (since they tell you that you must be early but they don’t have to be punctual whatsoever!). I arrived at 2:20 and wasn’t seen until 3:13.
