Really enjoyed my visit to Tortilla Reading! The burrito bowl was fresh, tasty, and filling, with plenty of choice for toppings. The quesadillas were perfectly cooked, cheesy, and full of flavor. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great spot for a casual bite — definitely coming back! 🌯🧀
I came here because I was craving burrito and I haven’t had Tortilla for about two years so I was excited. Upon arriving there were two girls working only, they were chit chatting and laughing about and talking their time to make the burrito. I ordered a chicken one with spicy sauce, what I was given was a saggy wet burrito like your grandma’s panties, no flavour (missing the spicy sauce) and there were about three chicken pieces inside. This place has been one of my favorites. I have been there quite a few times for lunch specially after a workout as their Naked Burrito Bowls are the best. Today I ordered a Naked Chicken bowl and there was everything in that bowl except Chicken. They have installed these self ordering machines so I placed my order on that machine and had to wait for my order to come in and hence I couldn't see what they were adding in my bowl. It was my first time in Reading and I happened to find this place when I was walking through the high street. Despite entering the shop during the busy lunch hour, the order process was relatively smooth thanks to how easy it was to place an order via the large touchscreens. In my moment of rushing back to my office, I had completely forgotten my drink that I ordered, but thankfully the member of staff was kind enough to sort that out and even apologised (although it was my fault for not checking my takeaway bag properly!)... read more
Takeaway Burrito. Really impressed. The burrito was a great size with loads of filling options. I went for chicken with coriander rice; pico and sweetcorn salsa with some spicy sauce and it was spot on. Fresh, tasty and properly filling. Fair price too at around £8.50. Will definitely be back.
