This restaurant has a pleasant interior which seems to be inspired by both Mexico and California. The dining area was clean and comfortable. I ordered a burrito, and the lady serving me politely explained all the available choices, including the rice, beans, meat, vegetables, toppings, and sauces. The flavour of the burrito was enjoyable overall, and the portion size was generous—perhaps one of the most economical meals in the area. The food was nice. I ordered medium chicken bowl. The portioning was nice. The service was top notch. Bravo to the team present there. Surya, pramila and sanjeevan.Would love to visit again.

Haven’t had cal-mex in a long time. Food was great, really glad I chose to add chorizo in the end. The staff were very friendly. Great experience!

Very small portions, not worth it, go to other places. Even though I asked for more, they did not gave sufficient for the price you pay. Asked for a salad and this is what they gave me

Stopped by Tortilla at Russell Square for a quick bite. The staff were friendly, though a bit confused at times—I was asked if I wanted “cheese or cheese sauce,” and when I said “cheese,” they still double-checked as if I meant sauce. Not a big deal, but a little off. The food itself was underwhelming. I had a bowl with white rice, pinto beans, beef, and chicken, and everything just felt a bit bland.
