Californian here. Stopped in on a whim for a burrito and was pleasantly surprised. You can get salad if you don't want rice, the hot salsa was hot, and the flavors and proportions were fine. Would have been happy with it back home!
A chain Mexican burrito restaurant in UK, decent quality, fast and friendly service, the waitress explained everything in detail with me as it was the first visit for me. You could get a well balanced meal, protein, veges, carbohydrates from both rice and beans, combined all with Mexican spices and citrusy sauce = an enjoyable meal.
I ordered some chicken tacos and some nachos to take out and didn't realise until I got back to my hotel room that the tacos were missing the guacamole (that I paid £1.85 extra for...) and the lime wedge. I can understand missing something like a bit of lime, but missing items I've paid for isn't great. The food itself was pretty good, and the staff were very friendly too, but check your order before you leave, especially if you've paid for extras!
So and so branch of tortilla. We had a burrito and a quesadilla, the burrito was half cold and the quesadilla burnt. The trays were wet and rusty. Overall it was ok but it could definitely improve. The staff was friendly at least.
The food is delicious and the personal is very kind.
