The food at Tortilla is always fantastic, and I usually go for a large burrito, but this branch is by far my favourite. The reason is simple: the genuinely friendly and welcoming staff. In particular, Anaya and Jana stand out – they’re always so pleasant and personable, and their service is second to none. I visit several Tortilla branches, but none of them come close to the level of service these two provide. Well done for hiring such excellent team members, and keep up the brilliant work. Full marks!
I had decent quesadilla here, it was very good for a chain restaurant since I didn't have much expectations. Definitely not the best I've had but I would say it was pretty good. Good portion too, for 11 quid. Ingredients were fresh but my main issue was with beef: it doesn't have much flavour, something what would make me react 'wow' with next bite. Cold, hard rice, unappetising tortilla delivered today. Portion sizes also bad was a tiny medium burrito no bigger than a can of coke.
The food was a total trainwreck. The peppers were completely charred, like someone forgot they were on the grill, and there were these weird black chunks in the bowl that I couldn’t even identify. The whole thing tasted like bitter saltwater – zero freshness, like it’d been sitting out for days. Straight-up disgusting. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. Never. Again.
Decent Burrito here today. I had chicken with rice and beans and guacamole etc. it tasted pretty good. I couldn’t finish the large so maybe I will for for a regular next time. Good hearty food and you can customise it your way. My partner had a rice box thing which looked so tasty. She said it was great. So highly recommend going for alternatives as well as the obvious choices. It’s local so likely to go again even if it’s not my favourite cuisine.
