Update We have continued to return time and time again. TotalBond has been a massive help for our family. Our 17 year old pooch started PT and is gaining some serious muscle and mobility back. She is more stable and walking much better. She is spry and I actually had to jog to keep up with her on a walk this morning for the first bit. This practice quite literally saved our dog's life. She had a stent placed a few weeks prior. She ate a treat that became lodged in her stent and she could barely breathe she started turning blue and purple at home and more so on the way. I called the hospital that placed the stent they said I needed to find the closest vet since they were a 40 minute drive and the primary vet we use is 30 minutes. Darla and I had a great experience at Total Bond. Darla is almost six months old and paraded right in, prancing right up to the staff for pats and rubs. Dr. Hay did the same and took the time to answer my questions and offer professional guidance. Darla sat in between his legs and was comfortable with him the the whole time we were there. I was so amazed by her ease, I took a photo of Dr. Hay with her.

They are very caring and give you and your pets personal attention. I never feel rushed and they always try to fit you into their schedule if you need your pet to be seen right away. I've taken my cats and dog to them for years and I highly recommend Dr. Dick Hay and Total Bond.

I have been looking for a vet who cares so much about their animals. Dr. Hay is so compassionate and loving from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. He truly is so passionate about his work. I have had lots of bad encounters with other vets in the area, and Dr. Hay seems to care so much. In the past, I always hated taking my pets to the vet because I knew they would be scared and I hated to put them through that. I am thankful to say the staff at the Totalbond in Davidson have changed my perspective. I know when I take my kitten to Totalbond she is going to be looked after and treated with kindness. Took my 11 year old dog here for the first time and he had a wonderful experience after years of being petrified of other vets. Dr. Messner and Karen were so patient and kind and took their time offering him treats and even a toy until he felt comfortable enough to let them do a complete examination. He got his shots, a blood draw and let them check his teeth, ears and other sensitive areas without growling or shaking violently as with previous vet visits.
