Sad to be leaving. Tower Property Management was by far the best landlord I’ve ever had. They were polite, educated and quick to respond to issues. They were even able to help my transition into owning my own home. You'd be hard pressed to find a more supportive, helpful group to rent from.
I do not recommend renting anything from this company. After a video tour, I moved for the first time in my life over 1000 miles away from home to Austin. I was very excited to start a new life in what I thought would be a cool location and house. I was greeted with a FILTHY, RAT INFESTED home managed by this company. One of the doors was busted, garage door broken, and absolutely filthy inside and out. Didn’t take long to discover the rat infestation. I left the home in near perfect condition. I addressed the paint issue from my first month there, I was not able to clean the walls because the paint rubbed off. I was charged $900 for paint at move out. I will be working with them and update my review based on the outcome. I have attached a photo of the drywall peeking the rough the paint, clearly not a me issue rather poor contracting and I am being charged for it.
Be wary of renting through TPM or utilizing them as a landlord. Below are a few things we encountered during our 14-month lease. - Maintenance never fixed our shower leak after multiple communications which resulted in mold. - A fee was added to our rent that we never agreed to after they updated their system. - Money was taken from our deposit that we were later refunded over errors and oversights (including the mold caused by their neglect) - The gate to enter our complex was replaced with a new code and fobs we were neve... read more
