I dealt with Sam on buying a used car. The pricing and negotiations were up front and honest. Did not have to go back and forth with the sales manager and when we finalized the sale, the finance department was good. All in all an easy and smooth transaction.
Had a great experience buying my car on the sales side. Service has been very difficult to deal with. It is difficult to get through the online system to actually speak to someone in service. We made an appointment stating we needed to drop off on Tuesday but wouldn’t be able to pick up until Thursday. The person who answered the phone said she understood but when I called to confirm we were told the appointment had been scheduled for Thursday. I had a terrible experience at Grapevine Toyota. I brought my car in for a service appointment at 8:45 AM to address a noise in the transmission, a maintenance light, and a low tire. They also mentioned two recalls, which they didn't address either. They told me it would take 4-5 hours and that a ride within 10 miles would be provided. Neither of these things happened. Update: Salesman came in and spoke with his supervisor who said there is nothing they can do because it’s not a safety issue. I was told by Ravin on the night I purchased it (I have timestamp photos I took in the lot) telling me to put air and come back if it turns back on but yet they are telling me its a sensor and I need to go somewhere else and pay for it. First time Tacoma owner and took it to Toyota of Grapevine for my 10k maintenance and questions. The maintenance was easy, but Kristina Cook went out of her way to answer my questions regarding my truck. She took time to walk me to my truck to point out some features.
