Dr. Kern was great and fixed me up fast with little to no pain. I think he did a great job and the staff there are nice, friendly, and caring. I highly recommend this Oral Surgery office.
Last Thursday I went to dr. Kern’s office in a lot of pain and needed a tooth extracted. It had been over 45 years since my last tooth extraction and I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Kern and his assistant put me at ease, the procedure was quick, painless and cost effective. I’ll gladly recommend dr. Kern to others in need of his services.
In 2013, I had a upper left molar replaced with an implant. It started bothering me almost immediately and was was never completely comfortable. In the Spring of 2026, it became painful to chew on the location of the implant and the implant felt like it was a little loose. My dentist at Shoal Creek Dental recommended Austin Oral Surgery to remove the implant. Dr. Travis Kern at AOS determined a treatment plan for removal and closure. My grandfather used to wear a red shirt whenever he went to the dentist office. When asked when he did this he said " to hide the blood." Well I can safely.say Dr.Kern and his intrepid staff have put this macabre tradition to rest at least for me. I've had Dental surgery twice.
