My root canal was quick and painless. Less than a week later now and all pain and swelling I had from before and after the procedure is gone and I am back to normal. The only painful part was the X-ray believe it or not because I have a small mouth and had to bite down on instruments that were for larger mouths. Dr. Homer was the one that worked on my root canal. This man hands are blessed by the lord I have never before had dental work without pain, that's right I had no pain during or after the procedure. I had a cracked molar causing me pain and went here for a root canal before getting the tooth crowned. They were the first ones available at the time so I went with them. Would recommend for getting a root canal. Done in around an hour and the only rough part during the process was keeping my mouth open that long to get at that back tooth. Only needed the pain meds afterwards to help sleep at night without it waking me up. Otherwise no problems with it since my visit. Will return if I ever need another one.
I'm not sure many people can say they enjoyed their root canal, but after 5 days of pain, Dr Homer and staff gave me such amazing relief. Absolutely wonderful from when I crossed their threshold till I left. Dr Homer was very personable, explained everything, answered all questions, I never felt the needles, no pain throughout the nearly 2 hours he spent with me, asked repeatedly how I was doing. I am very grateful to him and his staff. 5 stars absolutely.
Let me preface this review by stating I am terrified of dental procedures in all forms. I generally need anti-anxiety medication in excess before, during, and after for just routine cleanings. I came to this appointment, with plenty of pills in my pocket, ready for some very liberal (as needed) utilization. On top of that, this was my first root canal therapy!
