Went in for an evaluation and root canal after a crown procedure at another dentist in town left me with some major discomfort. At first I felt like I didnt really need a root canal- maybe it was something with the crown- but Doctor Homer did a good job of Xraying and then doing some manual tests that helped prove to me that something was really wrong with the tooth and it needed the work. Having a root canal instantly causes a stressful reaction but I was so pleasantly surprised by the care from Dr Homer He explained all the scans and X-rays to me before beginning. Made the procedure pain free and was so empathetic about my particular situation. He called my restorative dentist and made recommendations about my tooth All in all it was a great experience.
Although I live in NW Iowa n I drove 2.5 hours- THIS IS AN AWESOME PLACE!! Marsha is polite, gracious n explains costs n insurance ( if have it) Emily Hygienist did great job reviewing, xrays n assisting Dr. HE WAS EXCELLENT! Spent time discussing n showing me 3-D xrays, the details of procedure n when done- reviewing results n follow up. IF I NEED services again- I WILL GO BACK TO TRI-STATE. Great explanation of the procedure, very friendly staff, the next day I had next to zero pain. Dr. Homer was very professional and treated his assistant ( who was fairly new) with respect and dignity. Was training her in while working on me and made her feel at ease... And be as well. The only thing that I didn't really like was I asked for a good faith estimate before hand (1 week ahead of time) and they left out the xray and about $1000 of additional services.......a little misleading but the procedure was 100% profession... read more
Dr. Homer and his staff are wonderful! They chat with you and make you laugh throughout the entire experience, and Dr. Homer makes sure to inform you of everything that needs to be done and why. They all patiently answer any questions you have and you never feel like you're being rushed out. Most of all, this office treats its patients with dignity and respect, which is hard to feel when you're embarrassed of your teeth. Thank you all so much for today ❤️
