This has happened to me more than once: I made an appointment, showed up on the scheduled date and time, only to be told that the appointment had been changed or booked for a completely different date—without me ever being notified or made aware of the change. Do not see provider K Cruz Perez ... absolutely TERRIBLE provider: suggested an OTC medication for a use the FDA specifically says the med shouldn't be used for, her physical assessment wasn't from any medical text book I have every read - even her employer was boggled when I called to complain and couldn't figure out what she was trying to assess. Went for a small infection. Had a xray ordered and completed within minutes. Place was busy but they had me in and out real quick while making sure I was informed with all the information needed. Kind, courteous, knowledge staff. Also had a quick blood test and was the best test preformed yet. Pain free quick and barely noticed blood was even drawn.
My son was accompanied by me, his mom because he has a head injury and easily can get upset with frustrated situations. He wanted to get help for his alcohol addiction because he has unsuccessfully tried to quit. My son has taken the vitamins that Dr Kumar prescribed last year and cut down his drinking considerably but has come to the realization that he needs professional medical help and he cannot do it alone. Meeting with the doctor was absolutely fine. Trying to schedule a bone density appointment at the Bicentennial location was impossible because they said they had no schedules and gave me the general number to call. I was told the general number had schedules for all of the sites. When I called the general number, they only had schedules for their site on Carew St., and I couldn't get an appointment until May 4th.
