what an outstanding experience! My clubs were delivered in perfect condition yesterday, and the weather cleared enough to get on the range this morning — hitting like I'm 20 again ( LONG time ago )! Andy is fantastic, and I learned so much during my fitting just listening as he walked me through my options. Everyone should do this at least once in their lives!
I was on the fence about getting a fitting, but have always had a higher than normal launch along with high backspin. After testing multiple irons and shafts we found a club/shaft combo that had the best dispersion and brought 6 iron BS from sometimes over 6,000rpms - to high 4,000rpms & low 5k's which also gained an average 9 yards on total distance. It's also nice knowing that you're in the best make and model club for your age, build & abilities....You might just be surprised! Recommend Andy Connell @ True spec.
The total iron fitting experience at True Spec was great. The number of club head and shaft options, the Trackman simulator and the facility itself are all top notch. Andy did an excellent job of allowing me to hit all the various head and shaft options and ultimately narrowing the results down to what worked best for me. He knows his product, he asked me questions about my game and what I was trying to accomplish, he answered all my questions and it was a totally enjoyable experience. Thanks Andy.
Andy was a true professional and really helped me with the data and understanding all the different club options I had based on my swing. I think this will improve my handicap if not distance, for sure!
I did the club fitting with Andy, he is the man. The process is thorough and informative. I highly recommend to anyone interested in new clubs or just learning more about their swing.
