I booked ahead to get foils and a haircut. When I went , I got Candy. I asked her to lighten the ends a bit for me (my hair is kind of dark and I was aware that it wasn’t going to be completely blonde but i just wanted some dimension) she refused to do that or even try to lighten it slightly. I told her i only wanted the middle part of my bangs trimmed and she completely butchered them (she cut them straight across and really short lol) I left really upset and ended up going to a different salon to try and fix my haircut. My husband had the worst experience this morning getting a haircut by Candy. He was very firm on not touching his sideburns, well what's the first thing she does? BUZZED HALF HIS SIDEBURN! So he came home with 1 sideburn and half the other (he is very disappointed) When she finished, she whipped off the cape with all the loose hair flying (he was covered in hair) Never has he had this kind of experience getting a haircut and never has it ever been that quick. Ever since strictly going to online booking day of or walk in I have managed one appt. I have a very tight schedule and limited free time this is why booking like this is ludicrous as I cannot manage my appts based on this criteria. I will now look elsewhere, just another business not knowing customer service and I’m sure it’s from a head office who could care less about the customer
Would have been more if I could have booked an appointment. Told not able to book and only walk in accepted. When I arrived Candy said she would help me out. I got lucky. I witnessed several others walk in wanting a hair cut, but due to the time, they could not accommodate. Even worse they tried to book for the next day or a few down the road and were refused due to new policy. If it was not for Candy, I would have given 1 star, as I could not book an appointment. I highly recommend Ultracuts North Lethbridge! The team is fantastic, and it’s so convenient to be able to book with anyone if Sandra is busy. Over the years, I’ve developed a great friendship with the staff, and I always leave feeling happy with my hair. The welcoming atmosphere and consistent quality service make it a place I look forward to visiting every time!
