I had the best experience in this office starting from the receptionist onto the dental assistant, and then Dr. Allen himself. Very pleasant and professional. The dental assistant and Dr. Allen both explained in detail what they were doing as they were doing it. I do know from working in the Medical and Dental field that it is our responsibility to know what our own insurance covers however, they did the work for me and let me know what my portion will be and of course it’s always estimated because you don’t know specifics u... read more

Dr. Alan and his staff were very kind, professional, and most importantly, competent. Both the root canal and the recovery afterwards were the best I’ve ever had.

I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Allens patient for two endo procedures since moving to Douglas County. He is, writ large, the finest endodontist I have ever worked with in the United States. I highly don’t recommend going to them, they charge 250 to poke at your teeth. And then call and leave a message saying you are going to owe them 2,500 for your appt the next day, like didn’t even bill my insurance?! Let’s not even talk about my vm that would probably violate hippa rules……And…. you specifically called back a couple months prior and cancelled your appt because you were going into surgery. Took my son here to have a root canal, although my son was a difficult patient Dr. Michael Allen was very patient and understanding, even helped to explain what exactly he was going to do and was honest about the level of pain. Thank you for being so understanding and making my son feel as comfortable as possible! One of the best experiences we’ve had at a dentist! Highly recommend umpqua endodontics!
