I was referred by Dr. I called for more info. I spoke with Shireen who was nice and friendly. The day of my visit, I met Shireen who drew my blood. I felt comfortable with her and relaxed.
I received wonderful and prompt service at this establishment. The healthcare providers were experienced and I felt like I was in good hands. The prices make medical tests affordable as many of the services provided are way to expensive at other labs. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. Unilab also provided me with the itemized bill promptly after I asked for it - would highly recommend.
I phoned with one simple question: "Do you take Medicare?" I never did get an answer. The man sounded confused and said he needed a doctor's order to do the lab work. I said I needed to decide where I want it done first. (This location is near me but I'd never heard of it.) He said, "We need a doctor's order." I said I know that but I need to know if you take Medicare before I tell the doctor where to send the order. He repeated something about a doctor's order (he wasn't easy to understand). Came here as walk-in sent by Dr. it is cash only but way cheaper then the hospital. Very friendly and professional. Shireen is a great Labotomist.
So where do I start?? I was referred by my doctor because it’s affordable but that is the only positive thing about my experience. I went on a Saturday and called ahead of time to confirm what time they closed for that day. The person who answered said the phlebotomist usually tries to head out by 3-3:15pm even though their website and Google states that they closed at 4pm on Saturdays so I know I would have been outraged if I didn’t call ahead because the earliest I was able to arrive was 3pm.
