UnionWest is UCF’s newest student resident community at UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown at Creative Village. UnionWest is a 15-story building with restaurants on the ground floor, student services, classrooms and amenities conveniently located on floors 1–5, and student residences on floors 6–15. UnionWest opened in August 2019, along with UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown.

One of the worst experiences in my life. In 2021 after my first school year here I renewed my same living space and was given confirmation that I was renewed only to be told a week before move-in was over that I didn’t have a room anymore. Then when I got a new room, I had things stolen from me, personal property vandalized and ruined, and I was asked if I was okay being in a co-ed room which I politely declined they still went against it and did so anyways. Run far away! Everything is a money grab! Parking is $117 a MONTH on top of $1500+ for a single room. Management sucks and won’t respond to numerous emails or resolve issues. They claim to use a roommate matching system but they don’t use it or honor it. They’ll randomly assign new roommates with little notice. They charge you for every little thing. Ex. would leave 0 stars if possible. do not live here, please stay far away from this building and all its management. this building is SEVERELY infested with roaches, i have done everything humanly possible to get rid of them (spraying, bait, traps, peppermint oil) and its a constant battle everyday. they say they’ll fix it and thats by doing a half-assed job by just spraying a little bit around the perimeter of your unit and just lazily giving you traps. this building is extremely disgusting, cigarette holes in furniture, hole... read more
Avoid this place at all costs. ROACHES ON EVERY FLOOR. THIS IS MY MAIN REASON MOVING OUT!!! The roaches are in every single dorm no matter how clean you are. There are so many roaches that there are different species of roaches. The office says they are trying to fix the issue but I believe the issue is far beyond repair. I have wonderful roommates, the view is amazing, and the convenience for class cannot be understated. Yet I would not in a million years recommend you ever stay here. Overpriced, understaffed, terrible customer service through rentportal, and a dirty environment and low quality of living. When we first moved in here, it was dirtier than Asmongold's room.
