Do not hire this company—especially if you are mold sensitive. United Water Restoration Group did not complete the mold remediation properly. After the job was supposedly finished, there was visible mold left in multiple areas, as well as contaminated insulation that had not been removed or addressed. It was also clear the space was not HEPA vacuumed properly, and a negative air machine was not used, which is standard and critical for mold remediation. I am posting on behalf of my partner, who I live with and assisted throughout this process. United Water Restoration Group of South Florida was brought to our home by a plumber — we did not choose or independently hire them. At the time of service, we were asked to sign paperwork, yet no copy of the signed agreement, scope of work, pricing, or required disclosures was provided. Jason, Gabor, Nick and Sean did excellent work, they responded immediately to a short notice flooding situation and were on top of everything. They checked in daily to check that the water levels were receding and drying out. I highly recommend this company if you ever face a flooding issue in your home. Additional after water was all cleaned out they brought in a demo/packing team.
