This store is awesome!! Many great brands and deals! The staff were sooo friendly.
Advertises instant buys, but does not buy them. They offered me $16 for a $200 purse, a pair of shoes, and a top. When I declined the offer and they brought my basket of stuff back, it was all just throw in there in a mess. I gave them a nice folded basket of clothes and they returned it in a complete mess. Staff does not tell you why they passed of items. I came in with name brand things in great condition. Waste of my time. Somehow Plato’s Closet is more worth your time.
I have sold here twice now. The first time I sold, the store was just buying clothes and getting set up. I was impressed with the amount of clothes they purchased from me and I thought my payout was fair. This week I brought 7 items to sell. I received $15 for three items that were either new with tags or worn once. They were all purchased within the last year. Not being able to refuse the offer after the appraisal is ridiculous. I’ll never sell clothes here.
As someone who has both bought and sold to uptown cheapskate, you will not fine a better and easier store to sell to. They give you more for your items compared to local competitors, and they have lots of high quality, name brands to buy as well. This store is brand new, clean, and the staff is friendlier than ever. So far this is the best clothing resale shop in The Woodlands area.
The staff is not friendly at all! They appear as if you are bothering them when you bring in clothing to resell. Also, you don’t get very much money for the clothes you bring in and forget dropping them off, its such a big deal and the fact if you do drop them off you can’t refuse the offer that you are given is BS. The value rate of your clothing is roughly $2-$4 a piece for the items they keep if any at all and then they resell them at a huge markup! This place is a complete scam! Would not recommend this store to anyone
